The Who’s Pete Townshend and longtime Who manager Bill Curbishley will both be honored at the annual MusiCares MAP Fund Benefit Concert this coming May.

The MusiCares MAP Fund provides financial and supportive assistance for music people in need of addiction recovery services.

Townshend will be honored with the Stevie Ray Vaughan Award for his dedication and support of the MusiCares MAP Fund and for his commitment to helping others recovering from addiction.

Curbishley will be honored with the MusiCares From the Heart Award for his dedication to the mission and goals of the organization.

The MAP Fund Benefit Concert will take place at New York’s Best Buy Theater on May 28th. Tickets go on sale later this month.
