Bruce Springsteen has announced that he will make another appearance on behalf of President Obama this week, this time in the swing state of Virginia. The musician will perform alongside volunteers and local elected officials at the nTelos Wireless Pavilion in Charlottesville at 2pm tomorrow. Tickets are available on a first-come, first-served basis at the Charlottesville Obama For America offices.
Springsteen stepped up his support for the President last week, appearing at rallies in two other swing states – Iowa and Ohio. Check out this clip from the Iowa rally where a jovial Springsteen does an impression of the President and introduces the new “campaign song” he wrote based on Obama’s campaign slogan ‘Forward’. During the song, Springsteen joked: “When I got to the second verse I had a little trouble, because there’s only so many words that actually rhyme with Obama”
