As a preview of his forthcoming box set, The Ties That Bind: The River Collection, Bruce Springsteen has released a classic live video of “The River” from his 1980 concert at Arizona State University.

The Tempe show was part of the Boss’ tour in support of his first double album, The River, and is included in the new, 35th anniversary box set along with the remastered version of the album, the previously unreleased The River: Single Album (a ten song album heavily bootlegged for many years), The River: Outtakes, as well as the 60-minute documentary, The Ties That Bind.

The Ties That Bind: The River Collection will be released December 4th and is available for pre-order now.
