Robby Krieger and John Densmore, the two surviving members of The Doors, say they are planning a live tribute to the late Ray Manzarek for later this year.

“We’re going to do at least one show for Ray and have a big send-off,” Krieger told Rolling Stone. “That’s either the start or the end of it, I don’t know.”

Krieger says he also hopes they’ll re-release the two albums the Doors released in the years following Jim Morrison’s death: Other Voices (1971), and Full Circle (1972).

“We’re kind of running low on stuff to put out at this point,” added Krieger. “I’m hoping now that Ray’s gone, it won’t be too long, There’s cool stuff on those albums.”

Ray Manzarek, keyboardist and founding member of the band, died in May at the age of 74 after a long battle with cancer.
