Judas Priest Announce 50th Anniversary Tour

Judas Priest will celebrate their 50th anniversary with a U.S. tour this fall. The 50 Heavy Metal Years Tour will kick off September 9th in Oxon Hill, MD and wraps up October 17th in Las Vegas. In between the band will make stops in major cities including Philadelphia, Newark, Charlotte, Orlando, Detroit, Chicago, Milwaukee, Dallas, Denver, Phoenix and more.

The U.S. tour follows a European leg which kicks off May 30th.

“Judas Priest are primed and ready to deliver the goods with our 50 Heavy Metal Years anniversary celebration stage show spectacular!” the band said in a statement. “Performing a blistering cross-section of songs from our lives in metal — we can’t wait to raise horns with you again at this once in a metal lifetime event!”

Tickets for the U.S. dates go on sale Friday, February 28th at 10am local time via Ticketmaster.
