Alice Cooper will return to the road in 2021 along with longtime friend and KISS guitarist Ace Frehley. The Godfather of Shock Rock announced a 26-date tour this week that will kick off September 17th in Atlantic City. Ace Frehley will join Cooper for 24 dates beginning September 18th in Gilford, Ohio.
See below for a full list of dates.
“We’ve always had fun touring together, and it should be a heavy rock show with Ace and a great way to get everyone back to live concerts again,” Cooper said in a statement. “It should be a great night of virtuoso guitars!”
“I’ve known Alice for over 30 years. We’re good friends, and we’ve toured together numerous times and always had a blast,” said Frehley. “Our musical roots are very similar, and the combination of our two bands make for a great event that nobody is gonna want to miss. Being off the road for more than a year because of the pandemic has been tough on everyone in the music industry, and I’m really looking forward to seeing all of the fans happy, healthy and ready to rock.”
The tour follows the release of Alice Cooper’s latest album Detroit Stories featuring the singles “Social Debris” and a cover of the Velvet Underground’s “Rock ‘N’ Roll”.
Tickets for the tour go on sale Friday, May 21st at 10am local time.
