Wow, it’s been so long since I’ve written. Been so busy with Judy in the actual promotion of the Stones, Tom Petty, Steve Winwood, Heart, Slash and more—whew!

Anyway, speaking of Heart, Judy and I just saw them at the Hammerstein Ballroom in NY! They were f*cking awesome!!! I hadn’t seen them in years and I knew they’d be good, but honestly, I was not expecting a ROCK show like that!! They blew the rafters off the Hammerstein and the crowd went crazy!!! I mean it R-O-C-K-E-D!

They played all the hits you’d want, plus some really great new stuff off the forthcoming album. And I swear, Ann Wilson does Zeppelin better than Robert Plant! WHAT A FREAKIN’ VOICE! A true rock treasure, that.

Afterwards backstage, I asked her if she thought she might actually have gotten even better over the years. She said, candidly, that she felt she had because she’s lived so much life now, that the emotion behind the words comes out a bit stronger and deeper.
It really shows.

Nancy looks like she’s in her 20’s and rides both the acoustic and electric guitars like she’s galloping on a horse (well, the electric sounded more like a Ferrari!).

In fact, they both look like they haven’t aged a bit (and the insiders tell me it’s all natural, no extra fixing up or work done here!).

AND SPEAKING OF “FIXING” UP—HERE’S THE BEST PART. IF YOU WANT A REAL ROCK EXPERIENCE, IF YOU WANT TO HEAR REAL INSTRUMENTS BEING PLAYED LIVE, AND REAL VOICES SINGING WITHOUT AUTOTUNE…THEN GO SEE HEART!!!
