Pearl Jam has hinted at a big announcement and it’s likely New York City related. A post on the band’s Twitter page yesterday shows the entrance to a New York subway station with the words:

SPECIAL ANNOUNCEMENT
COMING SOON

The image uses NYC Subway system letters.

The biggest rumor circulating among fans is that Pearl Jam will play the Global Citizen Festival in NYC’s Central Park on September 26th.
