Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler has revealed that he will debut his new single on the American Idol finale on May 13th.
“Love Is Your Name” will be the first single from Tyler’s new solo album , which is set to be released on Dot Records, part of the Nashville-based powerhouse, Big Machine Label Group.
As a judge on Seasons 10 and 11, Tyler is no stranger to the American Idol stage. He will also perform with one of the contestants, Jax, on the finale.
American Idol airs Wednesday, May 13 at 8pm on FOX.
Despite focusing on his new solo album, Steven Tyler will hit the road with Aerosmith in June for their Blue Army Tour.
