Twisted Sister Calling It Quits After Farewell Tour

twisted-sister-logoIn honor of Twisted Sister drummer A.J. Pero, who passed away March 20th, bandmates Dee Snider, Jay Jay French, Eddie Ojeda and Mark “The Animal” Mendoza have announced two tribute concerts this spring.

The hard Rock  Hotel and Casino and Las Vegas show on May 30th will be filmed for broadcast, DVD and CD. The second tribute show, for the A.J. Pero family, is scheduled for June 13th at The Starland Ballroom in Sayreville, NJ.

Despite the loss, Twisted Sister will fulfill all performance obligations for the remainder of 2015 with drummer Mike Portnoy (Dream Theater, Adrenaline Mob, Winery Dogs).

The band has also announced that they will formally close the touring chapter of their illustrious career in 2016. The “Forty and F*ck It” farewell shows will celebrate the band’s 40th anniversary with core line-up of Snider, French Ojeda and Mendoza. Tour dates will be announced soon.
