Mötley Crüe has released a new animated lyric video for their song “Ride With The Devil.”
Though the feel of the song takes us straight back to the 80s and the peak of the Crüe, “Ride With The Devil” is actually one of four new tracks the group recorded for the hit Netflix film The Dirt – “The Dirt (Est. 1981)”, “Crash and Burn” and a cover of Madonna’s “Like A Virgin” being the other three tunes. All four songs appear on the official movie soundtrack.

When the band performed the final show of their Final Tour on December 31, 2015, many thought that was it for the group. No more shows, no more new music. After all, they had each signed a legal agreement that prevents any of them from touring under the band’s name in the future – making The Final Tour a true “final” tour.
However, in 2018 the group reunited and returned to the studio with producer Bob Rock to lay down the four new tracks for the movie.
At the time, bassist Nikki Sixx said: “We’re soon gonna smack you upside the head with some killer new tracks. Bob Rock is producing. It’s our movie. We know what we’re doing.” Later adding, “Everybody is playing like mad and the songs crush. Bob Rock brought the sounds.”
Mötley Crüe has also announced that they will be reissuing their 1989 album Dr. Feelgood to celebrate the 30th anniversary of its release.
