Whitesnake’s Michael Devin Proposes to Girlfriend On Stage

Congratulations are in order for Whitesnake bassist Michael Devin, who proposed to his girlfriend, Drea de Matteo on stage during the band’s show at Trump Taj Mahal Casino in Atlantic City on Saturday night.

“I fell in love with a very beautiful woman, a few years ago and I want to embarrass her as much as I can,” Devin said of de Matteo, and actress best known for her roles in the Sopranos and Sons of Anarchy.

After bringing her, as well as her two children up on stage, Devin asked, “Will you make sweet passionate love to me for the rest of my life?”

“Forevermore,” de Matteo answered. She then asked Devin if he would love her children forevermore, before accepting.

Following the proposal, the band then launched into their song, “Is This Love.”
