On April 10th, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony will take place at Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY – the first time in history the ceremony has been held at an arena.
The 10,000 seats available to the public sold out in minutes this weekend when tickets went on sale. Prices ranged from $66 to $576.
In previous years, the event was held at the Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and tickets were not available to the public.
Although Kiss will not be performing at the ceremony due to the fact that they can’t agree on which lineup of the band should perform, Hall and Oates, Nirvana, Linda Ronstadt, Peter Gabriel, The E Street Band, Andrew Loog Oldham and Cat Stevens will be appearing.
The late Clarence Clemons, longtime saxophonist for Bruce Springsteen’s E Street Band, will be honored.
