Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Announces Rescheduled Induction Ceremony Date

The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Class of 2020 will now officially be inducted into the Hall on November 7th. The ceremony was originally scheduled to take place on May 2nd but, a previously announced, was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Rock Hall’s website, tickets for the original date will be honored and do not need to be exchanged. Those wishing to purchase tickets can do so via Ticketmaster.

The November 7th ceremony will take place at Cleveland’s Public Auditorium and will be broadcast live on HBO beginning at 8pm EST. This marks the first time the ceremony has been broadcast live. 

This year’s inductees are the Doobie Brothers, T. Rex, Depeche Mode, Nine Inch Nails, Whitney Houston and Notorious B.I.G. Jon Landau and Irving Azoff will receive the Ahmet Ertegun Award for industry professionals. Presenters and performers have not yet been announced.

While the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland is temporarily closed, the Museum is delivering content including videos, lesson plans and activities via their new digital learning platform for students of all ages, Rock Hall EDU.
